Oriental fragrances are intense fragrances. This family is full of spices, resins, and herbs, a signature scent of Eastern countries. Even if you don't recognize the notes in this fragrance, you'll recognize them in the scents that are familiar to you. These fragrances are often described as charming and exotic, evoking wealth and allure. Families are divided into the following
• Soft Oriental: The least intense of the Oriental fragrances, creating a soft, floral fragrance that, when combined, creates a warm, incense-like scent. They're often found in perfumes that incorporate floral notes with spices or resins as a base.
• Oriental: This family is primarily built around Oriental fragrances, featuring warm notes like vanilla and cinnamon to create a more musky effect. These notes often evoke the sense of the East, which we naturally associate with familiarity.
• Woody Oriental: This family blends warm, woody notes with the sweetness of the Oriental spices, creating an appealing scent. Examples include myrrh, sandalwood, and patchouli.
