Woody fragrances

Woody fragrances are defined by their warmth and are more bitter than other fragrances. Many perfumers often blend notes from other fragrance families, such as citrus or floral, to reduce bitterness and enhance appeal. These include

• Mossy Woods: The softest of woody fragrances. Mossy Woods blends earthy notes like oakmoss, amber, and vetiver, creating a sweeter, more open feel than other woody fragrances.
• Woods: The purely woody family, based on cedarwood, patchouli, and sandalwood.
• Dry Woods: The combination of smoky and leathery notes creates a dry, warming woody scent, such as tobacco, leather, or smoke, which tends to be drier than other fragrances.
